Service codes

About service codes

Service codes are GSM codes you dial on a traditional mobile phone that has a keypad instead of a touch screen. As such, service codes allow you to use certain One Net Business features with no need for the One Net app or a desk phone.

You can use service codes to:

  • Put calls on hold
  • Set up conference calls
  • Transfer calls

Using service codes

To use any of the service codes, you need to put a call on hold first.

To put a call on hold

  • Dial 2 and select the call button.

To resume a held call

  • Dial 1 and select the call button.

To start a conference call

  1. Dial 2 and select the call button to put a call on hold.
  2. Dial the number of the person you want to add as a second participant.
  3. While on call with the second participant, dial 3 and select the call button.

    Now you're on call with the both participants.

  4. To add more participants, repeat steps 1 to 3.

    You can add up to three participants altogether.

To remove participants from a conference call

  1. While on a conference call, dial 1.
  2. Dial one of the following:
    • 1, to remove the first person you added to the conference call.
    • 2, to remove the second person you added to the conference call.
    • 3, to remove the third person you added to the conference call.
  3. Select the call button.

To transfer a call

  1. Dial 2 and select the call button to put a call on hold.
  2. Dial the number of the person you want to transfer the call to.
  3. Talk to your colleague. When you're ready, dial 4 to transfer the call.

    You can also dial 1 to resume the original call.

Note

If you're using a desk phone, you can access any of the service codes features with One Net Business feature access codes (FACs), or with the desk phone's programmable buttons.

Setting up service codes

For service codes to work, an administrator needs to disable Vodafone-basierte Anrufsteuerungsdienste verwenden in One Net Manager, while configuring your One Net Mobility settings.
