Managing privacy settings

You can use a set of privacy settings to control your visibility to other One Net Business users and to external callers.

Privacy settings

As a user you can manage these settings:

Vertraulichkeit für Telefonstatus aktivieren

This setting prevents your contact details from appearing in your organisation’s phone book.

Auto-Attendant-Vertraulichkeit für Durchwahl aktivieren

If an auto-attendant is set up to let callers reach someone by dialling their extension, this setting prevents callers from reaching you this way.

If an auto-attendant is set up to let callers reach someone by dialling their name, this setting prevents callers from reaching you this way.

Vertraulichkeit für Telefonstatus aktivieren

This setting prevents other One Net Business users from seeing your availability for calls. For example, you can hide your availability from people using line monitoring or One Net Receptionist. However, you can also refine this setting if you want your availability for calls to be visible to specific users.

To change your privacy settings

  1. Select Profil.
  2. Find the Einzelheiten aus Telefonbuch ausblenden section, and make any necessary changes to the settings listed above.
  3. If you selected Vertraulichkeit für Telefonstatus aktivieren but want your status to be visible to specific users, select Bearbeiten and move those users to the Ausgewählte Benutzer list.

Privacy for virtual users

When you add some types of virtual user (call centre, hunt group, auto-attendant or instant group call group) to One Net, you may have the option to add privacy settings. Unlike the settings for a person, the privacy settings for a virtual user do not include Vertraulichkeit für Telefonstatus aktivieren.
