Configure personal assistant on a mobile phone
Personal assistant can only be configured on an Android™ mobile and iPhone®. When it is configured, this feature is active on all your devices.
About personal assistant
With personal assistant, you can set up greeting messages for different occasions when you're busy or unavailable. You can select an unavailability reason from the list. For each reason, you can add a greeting message telling your callers when you'll be back. Your callers can leave a message, be transferred to your assistant or decide to call you back when you're available.
You can select from the following unavailability reasons:
- None
- Business trip
- Gone for the day
- Lunch
- Meeting
- Out of office
- Temporarily out
- Unavailable
- Vacation
Activating and deactivating personal assistant

To activate personal assistant
- Select Call settings > Personal assistant.
If you select None, the service will not activate.
- From Availability, select a reason of your unavailability.
- In Until, set for how long you're unavailable.
- In Transfer, define the phone number to transfer the incoming calls.
- If you want your phone to ring briefly and display details of the calls that are transferred, select Ring splash.
To deactivate personal assistant
- From Availability, select None.

To activate personal assistant

- Select Call settings > Personal assistant.
- From Availability to chat, select a presence status.
- In Until, set for how long you're unavailable.
- In Transfer, define the phone number to transfer the incoming calls.
- If you want your phone to ring briefly and display details of the calls that are transferred, select Ring splash.
To deactivate personal assistant
- From Availability to chat, select None.
