The Polycom VVX 201 is a desk phone that makes calls with VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

How do I use a Polycom VoIP desk phone?

You use a Polycom desk phone exactly as you would use any other desk phone. You make and receive calls in the same way you are used to, the call just connects over the internet instead of a phone line. Your desk phone interacts with One Net Business

There are several features of your Polycom desk phone that interact directly with One Net Business.

  • You can use Feature Access Codes (FACs) to do tasks including pulling a call onto your desk phone, parking a call or switching call forwarding on and off.
  • Some buttons on your desk phone interact with specific One Net Business services.
  • Your desk phone has direct access to your One Net Business call history and your organisation's phone book, so you always see the latest information.
  • Your administrator can personalise the programmable buttons of your desk phone using One Net Manager.

Who is the Polycom VVX 201 for?

The Polycom VVX 201 is an entry-level phone suitable for basic users who handle a low to moderate volume of calls. This desk phone is also ideal for use as an unattended phone, for example on a front desk or in a warehouse.
