Transferring calls

You can transfer calls in two different ways in One Net miniClient.

Transfer type

What happens

Unannounced (blind) transfer

You transfer the call to someone directly, without speaking to them.

Announced (assisted) transfer

You call and speak to the person you wish to transfer the call to and then transfer the call.

To make an unannounced (blind) transfer

  1. In the active call, select .
  2. Select Transfer.
  3. In the search box, enter the text you want to search for. Searching happens in real time.
  4. You can enter partial information, such as part of a name or phone number, but you must enter at least two characters.

  5. Highlight the contact and select Transfer.

To make an announced (assisted) transfer

  1. In the active call, select to put the call on hold.
  2. Call the contact you want to transfer the call to.
  3. When you're ready to make the transfer, in the held call, select .
  4. Select Transfer.
  5. In the list, highlight the other contact and select Transfer.
  6. Or

  1. In the active call, select to put the call on hold.
  2. Call the contact you want to transfer the call to.
  3. When you're ready to make the transfer, drag-and-drop the held call on to the active call.
  4. While dragging the held call, One Net miniClient shows where you can transfer the call to.

    When the transfer is done, both calls disappear.
