Ethernet service

If you need larger, uncontested network capacity, you can consider our Ethernet service.

Ethernet is a higher-grade access technology, compared to the standard ADSL or FTTC technology we usually use for One Net.

How does it work?

We provide an uncontested fibre optic cable that links your premises to our network.

Unlike standard ADSL or FTTC, where you share network capacity with other users, your Ethernet circuit is only used by you, so your data doesn't have to compete with anyone else’s.

Your Ethernet circuit will allow 90 simultaneous calls for your One Net voice traffic, plus consistent data upstream and downstream of up to 90Mb.

What do I need?

To deliver our Ethernet service, we need to install some additional equipment, in addition to the standard One Net Business equipment. This means we need to go through a few additional onboarding steps.

Note

Flexible bandwidth

If your business grows over the course of using our Ethernet service, you can increase the bandwidth at any time (up to a maximum of 90Mb).

These requests should be completed within 20 working days of your request reaching a delivery coordinator.

Note

Vodafone is not responsible for configuring or supporting your own network and will only support the data router we provide.
