After you've provided all the necessary details and agreed on the migration day, your delivery coordinator will help you prepare for the migration
If your mobiles are already with Vodafone, you can use your current SIM cards and handsets. Ask your delivery coordinator for more details.
If your mobiles are with another provider, we will need the Port Authorisation Code (PAC) to move your numbers from your current provider to One Net.
Each PAC lasts only for 30 calendar days. If the PAC isn’t used in 30 calendar days, it will expire and you will need to request a new PAC.
Requesting PACs
For 25 or more mobile numbers, receiving the PAC from your current communications provider can take up to 10 working days.
If you want to keep using your current handsets, check if they’re not locked to your current communications provider network.
To check if your handsets are locked
This is necessary for the Vodafone SIM cards to work.
Unlocking handsets
Unlocking your handsets can be a complex process. To avoid any delays, contact your current communications provider at the beginning of your onboarding journey.
If you want to buy new handsets, let your delivery coordinator know. You will receive a brochure with the available handset models.
After you’ve chosen your preferred handsets, your delivery coordinator orders them and makes sure they are delivered in time for the migration day.
