Finding the IP address of a DECT base station

Note

Information for administrators

Normally, the initialisation of the DECT base station is automatic. If your base station cannot initialise automatically, you need to find the IP address of your base station to access its web interface and set up the base station manually.

To find the IP address of the base station, you don't have to register the phone on the base station. You can use a DECT phone near the base station to find the IP address.

To find the IP address of a DECT base station

  1. Connect the base station to your network.

Wait until the LED is green.

  2. On the phone, press the menu key.
  3. On the keypad, enter *47*.

    The IP Search screen opens.

  4. Select the IP address of your base station.

If your phone detects more than one base station, check the MAC address on the back of your base station.
