You answer a call on your DECT phone. It's a customer who would like to speak to Erika in the sales team. You check Erika's availability and see she is free to receive a call. You place the customer on hold and call Erika to give her some details about the customer. When you've finished speaking, you make an announced call transfer to Erika.
When you receive a call on your DECT phone, you can notify another person and then transfer the call to them.
When you receive a call on your DECT phone, you can directly transfer the call to another person, with no notification.
