Installing and logging in to the Polycom® SoundStation® IP 6000 conference phone
What do I need to install my Polycom conference phone?
To install your conference phone, you need a network cable, a broadband internet connection and the Polycom manufacturer's instructions supplied with your conference phone. You might also need a power adapter.
Do I need a power adapter?
The Polycom SoundStation IP 6000 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). If your organisation does not have PoE facilities, you will need a power adapter. Power adapters are not included as standard with the Polycom SoundStation IP 6000. If you need one, speak to your One Net Business representative.

Benefits of PoE
In shared spaces like conference rooms, power sockets are often in short supply. Using PoE with your conference phone frees up your power sockets, and ensures your conference phone isn't unplugged accidentally.
What do I need to log in to a conference phone?
You must know the login details of the conference phone. These are not the same as your One Net Business login details. If you don't have the conference phone login details, ask your administrator.
