Home Worker installation

Note

Initial configuration

Before the installation, you need to physically connect your desk phone to your main office One Net service and download the current One Net settings.

To install your Home Worker desk phone

  1. Plug the included Ethernet cable into the switch port (marked "SW" or ).

    Check the location of the switch port in the image below.

  2. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into a spare port on your broadband router.
  3. Plug the included power lead into the power port.

    Check the location of the power port in the image below.

  4. Plug the other end of the power lead into a mains power socket.

    Your desk phone starts setting up.

  5. Wait until your username and extension number display at the top right of the screen.

    When the line buttons light up green, your desk phone is ready for use.

Note

Regular firmware update

To keep your desk phone's firmware up to date, connect it to your main office One Net service every six months.
