Monitoring other phone lines


Only for desk phones

This service is only available if you use a desk phone with One Net Business or One Net Office.

About monitoring lines

You can monitor other users' status and availability to take calls using lights on a desk phone and on an attendant console (also known as a Busy Lamp Field - BLF) that show if a user is busy on a call.

Your administrator sets up this service for you when personalising your phone. You can view which lines you are monitoring.


Monitoring features must be active

You can monitor other users' lines only if you have the Eligible to Monitor feature active. You can only monitor users who have the Eligible to be Monitored feature active.

Viewing monitored lines

As a user, you can view which lines you are monitoring. Your administrator sets up monitored lines for you.

To see which lines you are monitoring

  1. Access One Net Feature Management Portal.

  2. Select My Numbers > My Numbers List.
  3. In the My Landline Number section, select View More.
  4. In the Phone Configuration section, select View More.
  5. The list of lines you are monitoring is displayed.
