Parking calls in One Net Operator Console

You can temporarily park a call while you're carrying out a task such as resolving a customer query. When you are ready to resume the call, you can retrieve it using the same device or pick it up using another phone in a different location.

Note

If you want your colleague to pick up a call you parked, they need to belong to the same call pickup group.

To park a call in One Net Operator Console, you need to put it on hold first.

To put a call on hold

  • In the Active calls area, move the pointer over the call and select Hold call.

To park a held call

  • In the Active calls area, move the pointer over the held call and select Park call.

    Parked calls are returned to the All incoming calls area.

Your colleagues can retrieve the parked call on their devices now.

Note

You can have up to three calls parked at the same time.
