A hunt group is a way to manage calls coming to a phone number that is shared by a group of people. The distribution of the calls depends on the ringing pattern applied to teams in the hunt group.
Hunt groups are assigned phone numbers and perform user actions such as receiving and forwarding calls. They can be assigned call services, such as voicemail, and are managed in a similar way to normal users. Setting up a hunt group consists of adding hunt teams to answer the calls and selecting a ringing pattern for each team.
