Information for administrators
A hunt group is a way to manage calls coming to a phone number that is shared by a group of people. The distribution of the calls depends on the ringing pattern applied to teams in the hunt group.
Are other features active?
You can't activate a hunt group for a company number that has auto-attendant or call queue features active. Deactivate these features for the company number before activating a call queue for it.
For administrators only
Select a number that isn't assigned to another hunt group or an auto-attendant.
For administrators only
You can edit settings such as the hunt group's phone number, name or assigned hunt teams and their ringing patterns.
For administrators only
You can delete a hunt group when it is no longer needed. When a group is deleted, the phone number becomes available for reassignment.
You can set a distinctive ringtone for each hunt group so the members of the hunt group can identify which number is calling their desk phone.
